TRUTH BUILDING
On September 11, 2001, only eight months into the Bush presidency and as media organizations focused on the corrupt 2000 election which put GW Bush in the White House, 9/11 occurred.
Nearly 3,000 people died when two US passenger airplanes hit the World Trade Center towers in NewYork City; 184 people died in the plane that crashed into the Pentagon in Washington DC, and 40 more people were killed on another plane found in a field in Pennsylvania.
G.W. Bush and a pliant Congress blamed Muslim jihadists for the operation and made 9/11 the raison d’être to instigate sweeping police powers at home and endless war abroad. Twenty-five years after the pivotal event, the death toll from US-instigated wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and military actions in a half dozen other countries in West Asia have killed millions of people who had nothing to do with 9/11; the cost of post-9/11 military actions to the US is trillions of dollars.
Five days after 9/11, on September 16, 2001, Bush, despite a similar incident in a best selling novel a few years before and despite dozens of warnings from world leaders, asserted no one could imagine a 9/11-type event happening. Thousands of people died, a city devastated, the US economy in tatters. and the FBI blamed a lack of Arabic translators for its failure to stop the attack on US soil. A compliant media repeated the official narrative.
The cover-up of what really happened on 9/11 began before the dust settled on Ground Zero. I reported on the story in the aftermath, but I have found in the past 25 years the best information and insights about what really happened on 9/11 come from an Inside Source — the wisdom within our dreams, messengers of the night.

WAY TO PEACE

This disturbing dream image woke me with a jolt Friday, September 17, six days after the attack on the US and the morning of the eve of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. The bleakness of its prophesy for the coming year haunted me for days. I had an ominous sense dark forces waited in the shadows in the aftermath of the horrendous attack on the United States a week before
The meaning of the glass tumbler took shape at a Media Alliance event in San Francisco September 22, two days after the ‘they hate us for our freedoms speech” Bush gave to Congress.
Farhad Azad, publisher of Afghanmagazine.com, who in 1975, as a boy, fled Kabul with his family to the United States, spoke about centuries of struggle for his native land —from power hungry czars to the bloody decade long bloody dance Soviets with the Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan presidencies— destroyed his culture-rich country for their own political and economic ends. Kabul, the capital, vibrated with art, music, and literature.
When he finished, an observer standing next to me whispered, “What about the pipeline?”
“What pipeline?” I asked.
“The one going through Afghanistan to the Caspian because going through Iran or Russia is out of the picture,” he explained. The route through either of those countries was the shorter route— but politically untenable.
As he spoke, I wrote in my notebook, “It’s about oil,” drew a picture of the tumbler from the September 17 Rosh Hashanah dream, and put a box around the word “oil.”
At that moment, I knew the so-called U.S. war on terrorism was about oil. The dream held the key to the truth behind the impending massive US military response to the September 11 attacks.
MALIGNANCY
“I had a vision when campaigning for Al Gore during the 2000 presidential election. It was filled with fire and death and war. Gore was benign, but Bush was making war. George Bush meant war/malignancy. The vision was of war, fire, and disaster. War was a weapon to dominate as a world power,” a San Francisco State University Student described his dream occurring during the 2000 Presidential General Election between Vice President Al Gore and Texas governor G.W. Bush.
“Five days before 9/11, I sensed disaster,” the student told me during an April 25, 2002 teach-in at SFSU.
